OOCL is pleased to announce a new China-Bangkok Service (CBS) to further extend our service network between China, Thailand, and Vietnam for our customers.
The new service will be jointly operated by OOCL and Regional Container Lines (RCL) with three 1,200-1,300 TEU containerships, covering strategic ports in China, Thailand, and Vietnam.
The CBS supplements OOCL’s existing China - Ho Chi Minh - Laem Chabang Service (CHL) which covers North China, Hong Kong, South China, Thailand and Vietnam.
Commenting on this new offering to our customers, Mr. Stephen Ng, Director of Corporate Planning said: “The CBS, together with CHL, will provide a much more comprehensive network to better serve our customers on the trade between China, Thailand and Vietnam. It is also strategically structured in linking the key markets in central China and Thailand to give us a competitive edge in this trade.”
Commencing on March 4, 2012, the first sailing for the CBS will be with the MV/Victoria Trader on the following port rotation:
Bangkok / Laem Chabang / Ho Chi Minh / Ningbo / Shanghai / Laem Chabang.
