Iron ore import volumes increase in China's Jingtang port in Q1

According to the Hebei Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau, in the first quarter of the current year imported iron ore arriving at Jingtang Port in China's Hebei Province totaled 10.92 million mt. up 65.91 percent on year-on-year basis.
However, of this import volume, 5.42 million mt, mainly from India, Indonesia and South Korea, fell short of the required standard. Meanwhile, of 45 cargoes of Australian iron ore imported at Jingtang Port in the first quarter, 25 cargoes did not meet the specified standard.
