Ukraine and Qatar plan to build a grains terminal in the Arab state to sell supplies from the eastern European nation to Persian Gulf countries, Prime Minister Mykola Azarov said.
The two governments agreed to cooperate in constructing the hub in Qatar to meet the region’s needs, Azarov said on the Ukrainian government’s website.
Qatar is interested in investing in barley production in Ukraine, Qatari Prime Minister Hamad Bin Jasim Bin Jabr Al Thani said, according to the statement.
