Ukraine Exported 555,000 Tons of Grain So Far, Researcher Says

Ukraine’s grain exports from ports were 555,000 metric tons in the first eight days of this month, UkrAgroConsult said.
Corn shipments were 265,000 tons to Egypt, Tunisia and Spain, the company said in e-mailed statement today. Wheat exports were 204,000 tons to Egypt, Vietnam and Israel, it said. Some 78,000 tons of barley were also shipped.
Another 1.06 million tons of grain are expected to be shipped soon, according to Kiev-based UkrAgroConsult. That includes 852,000 tons of corn, 155,000 tons of wheat and 48,000 tons of barley, it said.
