Japan reduced its imports of crude from Gabon by 28 percent in June from a month earlier, according to the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry.
Japan bought 245,884 kiloliters, or 1.55 million barrels, of Rabi Blend, compared with 418,910 kiloliters in May, data posted today on the ministry’s website showed.
The nation also imported 107,665 kiloliters of Rabi Light grade, compared with 73,713 kiloliters in May, according to the data. This brings total imports from Gabon to 353,549 kiloliters, down from 492,623 kiloliters a month earlier.
Japan didn’t import crude from any other African nation crude in June, the data showed.
