Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. Announces Sale of Capesize Vessel

Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. announced yesterday the sale of the BET Scouter, a 172,173 dwt Capesize drybulk vessel, built in 1995 at a gross price of US$12,118,537. The vessel was sold for demolition and was delivered to its new owners yesterday. The Company will use the proceeds to reduce debt.
Following the completion of sale of the BET Scouter, the Company's fleet consists of ten Handysize, three Panamax, two Supramax and three Capesize dry bulk carriers with an average age of 13.9 years.
Seanergy Maritime Holdings Corp. is a Marshall Islands corporation with its executive offices in Athens, Greece. The Company is engaged in the transportation of dry bulk cargoes through the ownership and operation of dry bulk carriers.
The Company's current fleet consists of 18 dry-bulk carriers (three Capesize, three Panamax, two Supramax and ten Handysize vessels) with a total carrying capacity of approximately 1,085,063 dwt and an average fleet age of 13.9 years.
The Company's common stock trades on the NASDAQ Global Market under the symbol "SHIP".
