Jordan’s state-run Aqaba Development Corp plans to sign a 75 million dinars ($106 million) contract by June to develop and operate a new export terminal in the Red Sea port of Aqaba, Al Arab Al Yawm reported.
The terminal will be used for industrial exports, mostly from the Arab Potash Co. (APOT) and Jordan Phosphate Mines (JOPH) Co., the Amman-based newspaper reported, citing an unidentified official.
