PV Oil Co., Vietnam’s state-owned oil-marketing company, sold 200,000 barrels of Rong Doi condensate for June loading at a discount of $2.50 to benchmark dated Brent oil prices, said three traders who participate in the market, declining to be identified because they aren’t authorized to speak to the media.
PV Oil this month switched the benchmark grade that Rong Doi will be sold against to dated Brent from Tapis.
The details of the offer are as follows:
Condensate: Rong Doi (Vietnam)
Price: Discount of $2.50 to Brent
Loading: June 16-22
Quantity: 200,000 barrels
Buyer: Unidentified “major” oil company
