L&T Shipbuilding said it has bagged orders worth Rs 483 crore for four specialised commercial vessels in the first two months of 2012-13.
L&T Shipbuilding, the shipping arm of engineering major Larsen & Toubro, has secured orders from the Qatar-based Halul Offshore Services for the design, construction, trials and commissioning of two platform supply vessels and two anchor handling, towing, supply and support vessels, a company release said.
L&T has established shipbuilding capabilities at Hazira in Gujarat on the West Coast and a shipyard-cum-port at Kattupalli near Chennai on the East Coast.
