Dry Bulk FFA: Capesize Market Firms Up
Capesize FFA Commentary:
A low key end to the week. The physical market remains firm although the index rise was not as high as some expected and as a consequence some bids were sold on the nearby. Rates were largely in a very narrow range in the paper market with all eyes now on the physical next week in order to determine the next move on the derivative. Have a good weekend.
Panamax FFA Commentary:
It was a pretty static range bound close to the week on Panamax paper as we held onto the gains pulled back at the close yesterday. With the index decline starting to slow the tone was a little more positive as we closed the week with buyers willing last done across the curve. Good weekend to all.
Supramax FFA Commentary:
A very quiet end to the Supramax market was seen today. Some slightly stronger bids were seen as the market opened but led to very little activity. Have a good evening and a great weekend.
Handysize FFA Commentary:
A relatively quiet day was seen once again for the handysize paper as we continue the search for some firm bids. No reported trades. Have a good evening and a great weekend.
