PT-Shipmanagement chooses Cloud Fleet Manager (CFM) by Hanseaticsoft
Patrick Toll, CEO of the newly-established PT-Shipmanagement company, announced that he is using the Cloud Fleet Manager (CFM) as central in-house communication and data management solution. After working several years as fleet manager for well-known shipping companies (e.g. Blue Star & Rickmers), Toll decided to found his own company in October 2015.
Starting big, Toll announced that he´s is going to manage a fleet of 20 to 30 ships by the end of this year. At the same time he is planning to employ round about 10 workers. Despite a relatively low count of employees, Toll is confident to provide a reliable service. “This is possible by reducing the overall complexity using innovative technology” Toll states. Toll´s solution of choice is the Cloud Fleet Manager by German software provider Hanseaticsoft. The CFM has various modules such as Cloud Crewing, Inspection Report, Disturbance Report and World Map that seamlessly work together to enable a smooth operation at sea and ashore.
It´s offerings range from capturing observations on board to all aspects of crewing from hiring to payroll through to the handling of ship-related service requests. Thanks to the CFM being cloud based it can be used in the office, on mobile devices as well as on board. Data is securely saved and readily available in the cloud, allowing employees to access the same information and processes in a flexible environment, which is automatically updated frequently. The CFM does not only provide all solutions necessary to handle the daily tasks of a shipping company but it also provides one essential benefit – internal and external transparency. “Even in times of crisis. Who’s investing in efficiency now will have more fun doing shipping business in the future.” Toll states.
