2020: What a year! Lean Marine shares three good news before closing the year

Lean Marine team is leading a ground-breaking research and development project, funded by Swedish Transport Administration, Trafikverket, to accelerate the research and development of an AI-based, semi-autonomous system for planning and executing more energy efficient sea voyages.
We are proud to be working with Molflow, Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg University, Linnaeus University, CIT Industriell Energi AB and Svensk Sjöfart, in addition to the ship operators Rederiet Stenersen AS and UECC for this project.

Our CEO Mikael Laurin says:
“The Via Kaizen project, funded by Swedish Transport Administration, brings industry experts, academia and ship owners/operators together to explore AI-powered ship operations in order to enable the most energy efficient voyages.
