Marine and offshore engineering consultancy ABL Group (ABL) has appointed Jose Rosas as country manager in Panama, Central America.

He also headed ClassNK Academy in Panama, carrying out many projects with stakeholders such as local shipowners and vessel operators, the Panama Maritime Authority and the Panama Canal Authority, among others.

Prior to joining ClassNK, Rosas held roles as naval architect and marine surveyor, including flag state inspections, hull and machinery and P&I Club surveys. He is a naval architect and registered engineer in UK and Panamanian Engineering Councils.
