Bangladesh to sign 2-year LNG contract with Gunvor linked to JKM

Bangladesh plans to import a total of 24 LNG cargoes from Gunvor Singapore Pte. Ltd. in the next two years until its new long-term LNG contracts that start from early 2026 kick in, a senior Petrobangla official told S&P Global Commodity Insights on April 1. Shanghai Port remained the world’s busiest container port for the 14th consecutive year in 2023, totaling 49.158 million TEUs, according to a press conference in Shanghai on Thursday. A temporary route for ships has opened near the collapsed Baltimore bridge, as part of what officials call an “enormous” recovery effort.
