China confident of maintaining reasonable economic growth – official

China is confident and capable of maintaining economic growth within a reasonable range, China National Radio (CNR) quoted Ning Jizhe, head of the National Bureau of Statistics, as saying on Saturday.

CNR did not say where Ning made the comments. Ning also said the factors supporting China’s normal economic growth were still in place, and the resilience of its economic development would continue to show in the third and fourth quarters.
