China: Key ports see cargo throughput expansion
Statistics from an industrial association reveals that China’s main ports saw cargo throughput expansion in March.
According to the China Ports and Harbours Association, In March, the cargo throughput at China’s key ports augmented 10.9 percent year on year.
Specifically, the cargo throughput for foreign trade increased 9.4 percent from a year earlier throughout the same period.
The cargo throughput boom for foreign trade came amid the fast extension in China’s exports, which augmented 50.1 percent to hit 3.06 trillion yuan (about USD466.12 billion) in the first two months of 2021.
