Greece Sells EUR1.5 Billion in April 2027 Government Bond Tap

Greece sold 1.5 billion euros ($1.60 billion) in the syndicated tap of the 2.00% April 2027-dated government bond on Wednesday, one of the joint bookrunner banks said.

The spread on the bond was set 110 basis points above mid-swaps, the same bank said, adding that orderbooks closed over EUR4.8 billion, including EUR325 million of joint lead manager interest. The size of the final orderbooks is somewhat smaller than the one bookrunner banks indicated before the book closing.

Joint bookrunners of the transaction were BNP Paribas, BofA Securities, Citi, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs Bank Europe SE and J.P. Morgan.
