Reclamation works at Ayer Merbau Basin

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No. 54 of 2019 (a revision of Port Marine Notice No. 109 of 2018), the working period for reclamation works at Ayer Merbau Basin has been extended and the list of craft has been revised.
With effect from 10 Jun 2019 to 09 Dec 2019, reclamation works at Ayer Merbau Basin will be conducted 24 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays, within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):
1) 1 deg. 16.169’N / 103 deg. 44.006’E
2) 1 deg. 15.917’N / 103 deg. 44.169’E
3) 1 deg. 15.677’N / 103 deg. 43.866’E
4) 1 deg. 15.781’N / 103 deg. 43.785’E
The reclamation works include removal of undersea de-commissioned cables, debris and existing rock revetment, dredging, sand filling and shore protection. A safety boat will be deployed in the vicinity of the working area to warn other craft of the project.
Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.
When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:
a) Keep well clear of the working area;
b) Maintain a proper lookout;
c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 68 (West Control); and
e) Communicate with West Control on VHF Channel 68 for assistance, if required.

Vessel traffic suspension at Dardanelles

Due to construction of the Canakkale 1915 Bridge, vessel traffic at Dardanelles will be suspended as follow:
14 June 2019 from 02:30 hrs till 12:00 hrs (local time)
16 June 2019 from 02:30 hrs till 12:00 hrs (local time)
14 June 2019 from 04:30 hrs till 12:00 hrs (local time)
16 June 2019 from 04:30 hrs till 12:00 hrs (local time)
