Draft and LOA at newly commissioned Berth No 16
Wednesday, June 19, 2019, Mangalore, India

According to the New Mangalore Port Trust notice number 2019/004, the maximum permissible draft for Berth No 16 will be 11.9m with suitable height of tide. Maximum LOA is 190m and vessels must be berthed within 90 to 290m of the southern edge of the berth.

Suspension of operations at HOJ-III at Haldia Dock Complex
Wednesday, June 19, 2019, Kolkata, India

According to Kolkata Port Trust Trade Circular GMT-765 dated 19 June, berthing operations will be suspended at HOJ-III after day sailings on 23 June due to urgent maintenance work. Operations will resume in day tide on 24 June.

Construction of subsea pipeline at West Jurong Channel and Pesek Basin
Wednesday, June 19, 2019, Singapore

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No. 59 of 2019, construction of a subsea pipeline will take place between 20 June 2019 and 20 October 2019, will take place 24 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays, within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

The construction works include installation of pulling wire, clump weight, pipeline bottom pull and backfilling.

A safety boat will be deployed in the vicinity of the working area to warn other vessels of the work.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:

a) Keep well clear of the working area;

b) Maintain a proper lookout;

c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;

d) Maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 22 (Jurong Control);and

e) Communicate with Jurong Control on VHF Channel 22 for assistance, if required.

Soil investigation work in in Pesek Basin, Jurong Island
Wednesday, June 19, 2019, Singapore

According to the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore Port Marine Notice No. 60 of 2019, with effect from 1 July 2019 to 31 August 2019, soil investigation work will be conducted 24 hours daily including Sundays and Public Holidays, within the working area bounded by the following coordinates (WGS 84 Datum):

ABH-11) 01 deg. 17.322’N / 103 deg. 42.095’E

ABH-12) 01 deg. 17.335’N / 103 deg. 42.115’E

Soil investigation work will be carried out by means of marine drilling using a jackup barge. Tug boats will be used to tow and shift the barge into position. The safety zone is a circular area of 30m radius centered at the location of the barge. Safety boats will be deployed in the vicinity of the working area to warn other vessels of the work.

Craft involved in the works will exhibit the appropriate local and international day and night signals.

When in the vicinity of the working area, mariners are reminded to:

a) Keep well clear of the working area;

b) Maintain a proper lookout;

c) Proceed at a safe speed and navigate with caution;
