Jordan’s NEPCO seeks LNG cargo for October after several months

Jordan’s National Electric Power Company (NEPCO) is seeking a liquefied natural gas (LNG) cargo for delivery in October, two trade sources said.

It is seeking the cargo on a delivered ex-ship (DES) basis for Oct. 20 in a tender that closes on Sept. 5, one of them said.

Jordan has not been a regular importer of LNG since late 2019. Its last LNG cargo shipped into the country in December 2020, shiptracking data from Refinitiv Eikon showed.
