LSEG Launches New Palm Oil Tanker Freight Assessment to Drive Transparency in Sustainable Fuel Trade
LSEG is pleased to announce the launch of its new Palm Oil Tanker Freight Assessment, designed to address shifting market dynamics and foster the growth of the sustainable fuel trade. Developed by LSEG’s Agriculture & Shipping Research teams in collaboration with a panel of leading shipbrokers, this new assessment will provide critical freight rate data to the industry.

- Cargo Type: Crude Palm Oil and Refined Palm Oil products
- Cargo Size: 40,000 tonnes

The Palm Oil Tanker Freight Assessment is the first in a series of assessments that will cover key trade routes for palm oil, vegetable oils, used cooking oil (UCO), and biofuels. These will be progressively released over the coming months.
