Med crude-Urals diffs stable, Rosneft’s Tuapse oil refinery has halted oil processing

Russian Urals crude differentials to dated Brent kept steady on Friday, while Tuapse oil refinery in southern Russia has halted oil processing and output following a fire on Thursday.

Tuapse refinery outage may lead to injections to February loading plan for Russia’s western ports, traders said, but no additional loading slots were announced so far, traders said.

Kazakhstan’s state pipeline company Kaztransoil on Friday said it will increase the volume of Russian oil flows to Uzbekistan to 550,000 metric tons in 2024, instead of the previously planned 500,000 tons.

More than a dozen tankers loaded with 10 million barrels of Russia’s Sokol grade crude oil have been stranded off the coast of South Korea for weeks, so far unsold due to U.S. sanctions and payment issues, according to two traders and shipping data.
