Med crude-Urals diffs steady, Bulgaria is replacing Russian oil imports with alternative grades

Urals crude differentials to dated Brent were steady again on Friday, while Bulgaria is replacing Russian oil imports with crude from Kazakhstan, Iraq and Tunisia in January, according to traders and LSEG data.

Houthi militants mistakenly targeted a tanker carrying Russian oil in a missile attack on Friday off Yemen, British maritime security firm Ambrey said.

Kazakhstan’s state pipeline company Kaztransoil on Friday said that the country has supplied 993,000 metric tons of oil to Germany in 2023.

Oil loadings from the port of Aktau to the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline increased by 5.5 times to 1.392 million metric tons in 2023, Kazakhstan’s Kaztransoil said on Friday.
