Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline is 99% complete – operator

Nord Stream 2 undersea gas pipeline from Russia to Germany has been completed by 99%, the pipeline operator said on Wednesday, after a pipelay vessel Akademik Cherskiy has finished its initially planned scope of work.

It also said that the pipelay barge Fortuna is currently continuing work on the remaining part of the pipeline.
