Norway’s pipeline gas exports to Europe fell 6.3% in 2019 -Gassco

Norway’s natural gas exports to Europe via its offshore pipeline system fell by 6.3% to 107 billion cubic metres (bcm) in 2019 from a year ago, the system’s operator Gassco said.

Norway’s main gas producer, Equinor, held back export volumes due to a fall in European gas prices, pressured by imports of liquefied natural gas (LNG) transported by tankers.
