Pole Star appoints Chief Revenue Officer to drive expansion
Pole Star, the global leader in maritime intelligence, is pleased to announce the appointment of Erik Gilder as its Chief Revenue Officer.
In his new role, Gilder will spearhead Pole Star’s Sales leadership and continued expansion following successful growth investment in April.
Previously Managing Director for North America at Sovos Compliance where he was the global practice lead for sales, Gilder has more than 20 years’ sales experience, most of which has been spent managing teams and selling compliance-based SaaS solutions to financial institutions, insurance companies and corporations.
Under Gilder’s leadership, Sovos exceeded revenue targets for the last seven years. The company grew from 38M in revenue to over 300M while successfully executing two PE-backed exits.
