Rosneft awards Urals and CPC Blend crude oil in Oct 2018 – Mar 2019
Russia’s Rosneft awardeds a semi-annual tender to sell Urals and CPC Blend crude for loading from October 2018 to March 2019, market sources said.
Trading firm Trafigura was awarded 0.84-2.52 million tonnes of Urals for delivery from Novorossiisk in 140,000-tonne cargoes during the period, according to traders.
Trafigura also won from 0.48 to 1.35 million tonnes of CPC Blend for loading from Yuzhnaya Ozereyevka in October-March.
Trafigura was the winner of these volumes from Rosneft in the previous 6-month tender.
China’s CEFC will continue to purchase from Rosneft 80,000-tonne Urals cargoes ex-Novorossiisk. Rosneft offered for tender from 0.48 to 0.96 million tonnes of Urals on Aframax vessels.
Rosneft also awarded up to 7.2 million tonnes of Urals crude from Baltic Sea ports in October 2018 – March 2019, traders said, but the information on the winners was slow to emerge.
France’s Total was the winner of the previous tender for Urals loading in April-September 2018.
