Russia’s July seaborne oil product exports up 1.1% m/m, Reuters calculations show

Russia’s seaborne oil product exports in July rose to 9.289 million metric tons, up 1.1% month on month, data from industry sources and Reuters calculations showed.

Russia’s offline primary oil refining capacity for July at 2.5 million tons was below June’s level by some 44%, according to Reuters calculations based on data from industry sources.

Total oil product exports via the Baltic ports of Primorsk, Vysotsk, St. Petersburg and Ust-Luga in July fell by 4.6% on a daily basis versus the previous month to 5.034 million tons, data from market sources showed.

Fuel exports via Russia’s Black Sea and Azov Sea ports last month rose by 17.5% from June to 3.585 million tons after some local refineries completed maintenance.

Rosneft’s ROSN.MM Black Sea oil refinery in Tuapse resumed operations on July 1 after being offline since a drone attack in mid-May, three industry sources told Reuters.

Oil product export supplies from Russia’s Arctic ports of Murmansk and Arkhangelsk fell in July by 59.2% to 43,600 tons.

Fuel export loadings at Russia’s Far East ports in July decreased by 17.1% to 627,300 tons due to overhauls on regional refineries, data from sources and Reuters calculations showed.
