Russia’s Russneft diverts 100,000 T of Urals crude to Belarus from Ust-Luga – traders

Russia’s Russneft cancelled the loading of 100,000 tonnes of Urals crude oil from Ust-Luga port on Jan. 27-28, diverting the volume to Belarus, three traders told Reuters.

The Russneft and Neftisa oil companies, both controlled by the family of tycoon Mikhail Gutseriyev, plan to increase supplies to Belarus to 750,000 tonnes this month after other shipments were hit by an energy spat between Moscow and Minsk.

Companies including Rosneft, Gazprom Neft , Lukoil and Surgutneftegaz have been suspending deliveries of oil to Belarus since Jan. 1 as Moscow and Minsk argued over contract terms.
