SafeSTS further strengthens its position in Malaysia

As part of its planned expansion in Asia, specialist ship-to-ship transfer company SafeSTS has incorporated SafeSTS Malaysia Sdn BHD to handle its existing operations in the ports of Tanjung Bruas and Labuan in Malaysia.

From its Head Office in Diss, Norfolk, Yvonne Mason, Managing Director of SafeSTS comments: “The demand for ship-to-ship transfers is experiencing global growth, and we take pride in providing the skill and experience vital to the successful completion of such delicately balanced operations.

“Ka Petra Sdn BHD, the Malaysian company with which SafeSTS forged a partnership in 2016, will continue to work in collaboration with SafeSTS Malaysia. All our operations are carried out in strict compliance with international guidelines and marine pollution legislation, and we have been working together to develop a pool of trained Malaysian Mooring Masters to strengthen our services in this region.”

Currently, cargoes being handled out of the two ports are crude oil, chemicals, fuel oils and LPG.
