Safetytech Accelerator hosts technology showcase on mental wellbeing in maritime

Mental health and wellbeing of seafarers is not a new concern, but COVID-19 has shed more light on systems and structures impacting the mental health of seafarers. Stakeholders are increasingly interested in addressing issues to alleviate suffering, as well as improve performance across the supply chain.

The Safetytech Accelerator’s latest event: ‘Using technology to assess mental wellbeing in maritime: showcasing and discussing the latest solutions’ is coming up on Wednesday 13th October where 6 leading technology providers will pitch their proven mental wellbeing monitoring solutions, part of a technology showcase.

The online virtual event will also be hosting a dynamic debate on tech advances in mental wellbeing with key maritime influencers from HiLo Maritime Risk Management, Sailors’ Society, The Mission to Seafarers, Nautical Institute, British Ports Association and MOL-LNG (Europe) to understand drivers and blockers for technology for mental wellbeing.
