Shanxi Province to Maintain Coal Production at 1.4 Billion mt/y by 2025

Recently, the General Office of the Shanxi Provincial People’s Government issued a plan for ore mining during 2021-2025. It is proposed that by 2025, coal production capacity in Shanxi will be stable within 1.56 billion mt/year, while the coal output will be maintained at 1.4 billion mt/year. The the number of coal mines will stand at roughly 900.
