Transport Capital expands in Greece: Alexandros Valentis will help to grow the Group’s activities in one of the most important maritime markets

Transport Capital, an investment management and financial advisory firm focused on Maritime and Aviation, welcomes Alexandros Valentis as Director, Greece, based in its Athens office.

With close to 20 years of experience in the maritime sector, Alexandros brings with him a wealth of ship finance and projects experience. After his career at Maersk in the early 2000s, he moved on to Proton Bank where he was a relationship banker from 2006 to 2012. Following this he continued to focus on shipping finance projects at OW Bunker, Golden Destiny and Maersk Broker. Alexandros has a Masters in Marine Transport from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne and an MBA in International Business from the University of Bedfordshire. He is also an Adjunct Professor – Shipping Finance at University of Plymouth Greek Branch – BCA College in Greece.
