Tunisia tenders to buy 100,000 tonnes durum wheat -trade

Tunisia’s state grains agency has issued an international tender to purchase up to 100,000 tonnes of durum wheat, European traders said on Tuesday.

The grain can be sourced from optional origins. The tender deadline is Jan. 9, they said.

The durum is sought in four 25,000 tonne consignments.

The tender sought shipment between Feb. 15 and March 25, depending on origins selected by the seller.

In its last reported durum tender on Dec. 21, Tunisia’s state grains agency purchased 50,000 tonnes along with other grains.
