Weekly Dry Time Charter Estimates, November 4 2020

Capesize period rates moved lower again this week with very little period interest reported as market players wait to see which direction the market will take before deciding what their next move will be.

A quiet week for the kamsarmax and panamax sector as the pacific basin suffered from the consequences of trade war between Australia and China. In the Atlantic, sentiment was also subdued due to low demand.

The market for the smaller sizes has been sluggish this week and rates have come under pressure with supramax rates for one-year falling to around $10,000/pdpr.
