Weekly Tanker Time Charter Estimates, September 23 2020

After a few weeks of increased interest in the crude sector, the drive behind the VLCCs has slowed with some fixtures failing as hopes of a second floating storage boom fade away. Interest in the Suezmax and Aframaxes remains subdued.
A quiet week once again in the clean sector, with fixtures reported largely focused on the short-term.
Oil prices fell at the start of the week over concerns of new Covid-19 related lockdowns but bounced back up slightly on Tuesday following the news that restrictions would be more localised.
