Capesize Aquasalwador (180,000 DWT, Jan 2012, Daehan) sold to undisclosed buyers for USD 27.00 mil, VV Value USD 25.26 mil – BWTS fitted.

Handy BC Baltic Pearl (37,200 DWT, Jan 2014, Zhejiang Ouhua) sold to undisclosed buyers for USD 19.00 mil, VV Value USD 16.09 mil – BWTS fitted

Handy BC Atlantic Dream (32,500 DWT, Dec 2011, Zhejiang Hongxin) sold to undisclosed buyers for USD 10.75 mil, VV Value USD 10.95 mil – BWTS fitted.

Handy BC (Open Hatch) Shanghai (31,900 DWT, Dec 2000, Saiki) sold to Allouf Maritime Transport Corp for USD 8.30 mil, VV Value USD 8.85 mil – BWTS fitted.

VLCC Asia Dawn (281,400 DWT, Oct 2005, IHI) sold to Middle Eastern buyers for USD 50.00 mil, VV Value USD 49.63 mil.

Aframax Syra (105,700 DWT, Mar 2010, Sumitomo) sold to Middle Eastern buyers for USD 39.50 mil, VV Value USD 41.70 mil – BWTS fitted.

Containers: Container values have softened

Sub Panamax Sealand Guayaquil (2,546 TEU, Jan 2009, Jiangsu Yangzijiang) sold to undisclosed buyers for USD 13.00 mil, VV Value USD 21.49 mil. – this sale sets a new benchmark for the sector.
