Tanker: VLCC and MR values have softened whilst Suezmax and Aframax values have firmed a small amount.
The VLCC TI Topaz (319,400 DWT, Oct 2002, Hyundai Samho HI) sold SS due to New Shipping Ltd from Euronav for USD 21 mil vs VV 24.43 mil softening values.
The BLS Ability (85,000 DWT, Aug 2002, Sasebo) sold to Avin International for USD 9 mil vs VV 8.61 mil firming Aframax values.
The MR Shimanami Sunshine (48,000 DWT, PR, Jul 2004, Koyo Dock) sold for USD 10 mil vs VV 11.22 mil, softening MR values.
Bulker: Bulkers values have remained stable this week.
The Panamax Hanjin Paradip (82,200 DWT, Jan 2013, Tsuneishi Zosen) sold to JP Morgan Global Maritime for USD 21.3 mil vs VV 21.62 mil.
Nordic Aarhus (52,100 DWT, Jul 2000, Sanoyas) was sold for USD 6.5 mil.
The Handy BC Acacia Bulker (32,800 DWT, May 2005, Kanada) was sold by Sincere Industrial for USD 7.3 mil.
Container: Values have remained stable with a slight softening in Feedermaxes.
The Nansen Strait (5047 TEU, Jul 2005, Hyundai HI) sold for USD 7.6 mil vs VV 4.12 mil, firming Panamax values for ships this age.
Scrap: Scrap rates have remained stable this week.
