Weekly Vessel Valuations Report, September 12 2017
Tanker: Once again it has been a quiet week in the Tanker sector with values remaining stable.
The Aframax Tanker Neptune Voyager (104,900 DWT, Apr 2003, Samsung) was sold for USD 10.2 mil, VV value USD 10.93 mil. This sale has caused a slight softening in older tonnage values.
Bulker: 3 Capesize sales have taken place this week.
Chevrier and Cartigny (182,000 DWT, Jan and Jun 2016, Japan Maritime United) sold to JP Morgan including a 5 year charter, for an en bloc price of USD 91 mil, VV value USD 82 mil.
C Discovery (180,000 DWT, Apr 2010, HHI) sold for USD 28 mil, VV value USD 28.09 mil.
Panamax values have firmed slightly this week. Ocean Sakura (76,600 DWT, Aug 2007, Imabari) sold for USD 13.7 mil, VV value USD 13.28 mil.
Supramax values have remained stable. Nord Leader (55,800 DWT, Mar 2007, Kawasaki) sold for USD 11.5 mil, VV value USD 11.83 mil.
Handy values have also remained stable. Glory Marugame (28,300 DWT, Jul 2008, Imabari) sold for USD 7.9 mil, VV value USD 8.02 mil.
Container: All Container values have remained stable.
Ursula (1,728 TEU, Aug 1997, Stocznia) sold for USD 3.5 mil, VV value USD 3.3 mil.
