Coal imports exceed 10 million tonnes in north China’s border port

The border port of Ceke in north China’s Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region has witnessed coal imports of about 10.06 million tonnes this year, local authorities said.

According to the Ceke port, an important trade passage between China and Mongolia, the trade volume has reached nearly 3.2 billion yuan (about 488.5 million U.S. dollars).

The coal import and export trade was once suspended due to COVID-19 earlier this year, and restarted on March 28.
