Russia’s Novatek may raise LNG output plans to 70 mln T/yr by 2030

Russian gas producer Novatek currently plans to produce 57 million tonnes of LNG a year by 2030, but intends to revise its planned output to 70 million tonnes in a year or two, company boss Leonid Mikhelson said on Tuesday.

Mikhelson made the comments at a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, according to a readout published on the Kremlin’s website.
