The Governments of Finland and Sweden, Seas at Risk, Ocean Care, Clean Shipping Coalition, Clean Arctic Alliance together with the Technical Research Center of Finland (VTT) and Research Institutes of Sweden (RISE) invite You to a side event titled:

Joining the dots between sustainable maritime logistics and planetary boundaries

Tuesday 28 June, 10:00–11:15, Committee Room of the Conference venue (Altice Arena in Parque das Nações, Rossio dos Olivais, Lote 2.13.01A, 1990-231), Lisbon. Note that accreditation to the UN Ocean Conference is required to attend this event.

Reducing emissions is only part of making maritime logistics fit well in circular economies. This event endeavors to join the dots between sustainable maritime logistics and planetary boundaries.

The event at the UN Ocean Conference in Lisbon will surface a range of concrete solutions on developments in carbon-neutral transport services, and sheds light on some of the gaps in current maritime transport policies.
