The making of Inmarsat’s GX5 satellite

It’s taken 150 people worldwide working more than 570,000 hours to build, from start to finish, Inmarsat’s next-generation GX5 satellite. Delivering more capacity than the entire Global Xpress fleet combined (GX1-4) into Europe and the Middle East, it will power high-speed, mobile broadband communications for one of maritime and aviation’s busiest regions.
