Cape period rates have yet to rebound and have remained low.

Whilst the spot market showed have some improvement, the period market for the panamaxes and kamsarmaxes has remained under pressure, with a few short period fixtures reported.

The smaller sizes have shown some signs of improvement with rates firming slightly.
