Weekly Tanker Time Charter Estimates, January 15 2020

The dry bulk market has faced additional pressure this week and rates have continued to fall, the timecharter market has been no exception and capesize rates have fallen across all periods, with little signs of recovery in the coming weeks due to the impending Chinese New Year celebrations.

The kamsarmax/panamax market has also moved downwards although a number period fixtures have been reported around the one-year mark.

Generally, a quiet week for the smaller sizes although there have been rumours of a short-term supramax fixture.
