Fendercare: i-Energy Partnership

James Fisher and Sons plc has further increased its presence in the Middle East through a partnership between Fendercare Marine Middle East LLC and Saudi Arabia-based Intelligent Energy Services Co. Ltd, (i-Energy), facilitating the supply of high-quality marine products to Saudi customers.

Under the terms of the agreement, i-Energy – an established provider of innovative, cost- effective products and services to the Saudi marine and oil & gas markets – can now also supply a wide range of Fendercare products and services to local customers direct from its base in Dammam, the capital of the Kingdom’s eastern province.

This new stock location for Fendercare, a division of James Fisher, will better serve its customer base in the region by increasing the ease of product availability/efficiency and the ability to purchase in local currency. This local partnership will greatly support the Kingdom’s national port, marine and offshore industries and the In-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) program.

i-Energy will offer an improved service provision for the region, to support customers in the Kingdom with premium-quality products, including genuine Yokohama fenders and hoses as well as anchors, chains, ropes and fixed fendering solutions. The company will also provide testing and maintenance services for fenders and hoses, with fenders also available in a rental capacity, adding further value to customers.

Bode Gbadamosi, general manager of Fendercare Marine Middle East, says:

“We’re excited to announce our new partnership with i-Energy in Saudi Arabia. This strategic collaboration will enable us to prioritise supply to customers in the country with stock that will be conveniently housed at i-Energy’s location in Damman. Thus, offering our customers based in Saudi Arabia and the surrounding areas a service with increased efficiency and a local focus.”
